Best Mexican food around for 40 miles. Authentic and hearty. They care about the quality of their food which you will know by the first bite. Thumbs definitely up.

They always have really good food and queso! Really good service, spotlessly clean restaurant! The only suggestion I would have is to not be so heavy on the raw onions in dishes or ask people if they want them or not (the dish wasn't listed on the menu as having raw onions or onions at all). It's off putting to be eating hot food then come across a cold raw onion.

Great soups. Shrimp and Tortilla soup worth having as a main meal. Friendly staff. Try the Molcajete for a main meal. Very spicy!

I’ve dined here many times and have never had a less-than-stellar dish. Menu features typical Tex-Mex fare, freshly-made in-house that morning. The brisket tacos have just the right amount of kick and the hand-poured pineapple margaritas (on the rocks) are on point, as well. Don’t forget to check out the Happy Hour & Taco Tuesday specials!

This place is worth trying. They serve large portions for affordable rates. Constantly clean and with good atmosphere. Will come back again.

Food was decent but three other tables came in after we had already ordered. They ate and left before we ever got our food. When we did get our food, my wife got her order while my daughter and I waited an additional 15 minutes for our order. No apologies. We were asked if we wanted our food to go...what a joke

One of our biggest adventures has been to find a good, authentic Mexican restaurant each time we move. There’s a lot of Tex Mex out there but true, traditional Mexican cuisine is always a challenge. Finally found one for dinner tonight. They are always colorful in appearance and are often what I describe as a “Mexican Mama Kitchen”. Great margaritas during happy hour (3-6 daily) for $2.50, Taco Tuesday for cooked to order tacos including the shell, enchiladas made with corn tortillas instead of flour, and Cheesecake Chimichangas with Walnuts and Raspberry sauce. It was so good and dinner with cocktails and dessert was under $35. We’ll definitely be back. Garisoles in downtown Denison. 505 South Armstrong Avenue.
